WELCOME TO THE SAN ANTONIO BLACK LAWYERS’ ASSOCIATION
At the statewide level, SABLA assists in the development of programs designed to address problems felt throughout Texas. SABLA members presently sit on a board created to address racial disproportionality in the Texas foster care system. By helping to effect change at the statewide level, we seek to create change that will be felt locally.
To ensure that the public has access to the best legal representation our city can offer, SABLA offers professional development through new attorney outreach programs, continuing legal education and mentoring opportunities. We are proud to work closely with St. Mary’s Law School in preparing students to practice law locally.
